At the end of February 2024, Boston metro area witnessed the highest increase in inventory for sale among the top 15 metro areas, with a rise of 42.7% compared to the end of the same month a year ago. There were 4,380 homes for sale. Meanwhile, during the same time period, Phoenix saw a decline of 20.4% in inventory for sale compared to the end of February 2023, with 12,570 homes listed for sale.
