Houston metro area experienced a 6.0% decline in new property listings from June to August 2023, with a total of 46,300 new homes listed. During the same period, among the top 15 metro areas, the Phoenix metro area saw the biggest drop of 39.9% in new homes listed for sale when compared to August 2022, with only 13,770 single-family homes listed.
