During March 2023, the Seattle metropolitan area witnessed a substantial dip in the sale of single-family homes with 3,400 properties sold, indicating a decrease of 29% as compared to the same period in the preceding year.

However, the inventory for sale in the area plummeted by 14% to a total of 6,800 properties by the end of March 2023 when compared to the previous year.
